Primary Teaching Assistant – Abertillery, Blaenau Gwent

An established educational provider is seeking a motivated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in the South East of Wales. This full-time position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting early years education and fostering inclusive learning environments. The Primary Teaching Assistant will work closely with teaching staff to ensure pupils in the foundation stage receive tailored support to promote their academic, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

* Providing classroom support to pupils in the foundation phase

* Assisting with lesson planning and delivery of engaging activities

* Supporting pupils with their behavioural, social, and learning needs

* Contributing to a welcoming, inclusive, and positive classroom environment

* Supervising pupils during activities and break times

* Helping ensure the smooth running of daily classroom operations

Ideal Candidate Profile:

* Experience working with children within an educational setting is advantageous

* Strong communication and organisational skills

* Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting

This Primary Teaching Assistant role in Abertillery, Blaenau Gwent, is suited for individuals who are passionate about education and wish to make a meaningful contribution to children’s learning experiences. The position is full-time, long-term, working Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, with a minimum pay rate of £95.00 per day.
