Job Description
We are looking for a Bilingual Customer Service Specialist to support all products and services in our retail and commercial lines of business via inbound and outbound customer service calls.
LocationAbilene, Texas, United States
Schedule and CompensationStarting Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour. Fixed on-site position; remote/hybrid not available. Saturday and holiday hours may be required. Flexibility for extended hours as business requires.
Scope / Responsibilities- Support all retail and commercial products, including bank operations, regulations, transaction processing, electronic services, marketing, promotional activities, online and mobile banking issues, and other inquiries.
- Handle and respond to 100–200 calls daily with active listening and professional communication.
- Meet and exceed service goals, building and advancing customer relationships.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer information.
- Resolve issues on the first call proactively.
- Operate phone and multiple systems simultaneously.
- Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services.
- Utilize technology to support and troubleshoot online services, track interactions, and participate in the company's sales and service culture.
- Promptly answer incoming phone calls with courtesy and accurate identification of customer needs.
- Transfer calls accurately to appropriate departments.
- Adhere to bank policies and procedures while supporting the organization's sales and service culture.
- Fully bilingual (read, write, speak) in English and Spanish.
- Minimum two years of consistent customer service experience; six months of call center experience is desirable.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Windows applications, internet browsers, mobile devices, and basic computer hardware.
- Ability to meet training standards and availability to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
