Self‑Perform Maintenance Excellence
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance internally whenever possible.
  • Diagnose failures and repair equipment without over reliance on vendors.
  • Use vendors strategically for specialty scopes, while retaining ownership of standards and quality.
  • Drive first‑time fix mentality and reduce outsourced spend through technical capability.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify recurring failures and reliability risks.
  • Improve PM procedures, SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs.
  • Support commissioning, retrofits, capacity expansions, and operational readiness.
  • Mentor junior engineers and raise technical standards across the team.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience operating and maintaining critical MEP systems in data centers, hospitals, utilities, semiconductor, manufacturing, or similar uptime‑critical environments.
  • Deep expertise in either mechanical or electrical systems, with working knowledge across all MEP disciplines.
  • Strong troubleshooting ability under pressure.
  • Experience with CMMS systems, work orders, PM programs, and documentation.
  • Knowledge of lockout/tagout, arc flash, safety programs, and change management.
  • Ability to read one‑lines, schematics, P&IDs, sequence of operations, and control drawings.
  • Comfortable performing hands‑on field work daily.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Data center or hyperscale operations experience.
  • OEM certifications or trade licenses (electrical, HVAC, stationary engineer, etc.).
  • Experience with live switching / energized operations.
  • Controls/BMS/EPMS experience.
  • Root cause analysis / reliability engineering mindset.
What Success Looks Like
  • Equipment stays online and reliable.
  • Maintenance is executed with high quality and minimal vendor dependence.
  • Issues are found before failures occur.
  • Emergencies are handled calmly and effectively.
  • Standards improve because you are on the team.
