Director, Commissioning QA​/QC

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is seeking a Director, Commissioning QA/QC to lead startup, commissioning, quality validation, and operational readiness for Oracle's Abilene AI Data Center. This role ensures critical systems are installed correctly, tested thoroughly, energized safely, and turned over ready for operations. The Director will coordinate across construction, controls, vendors, QA/QC, commissioning teams, and operations to drive predictable startup execution, reduce rework, and ensure systems meet design intent and operational requirements.

This is a field-focused leadership role with expected site engagement of 60-80% during turnover, inspection, commissioning, and startup phases. This position is based in Abilene, Texas. Oracle will offer managed relocation assistance for eligible candidates. We will also consider Remote work flexibility for Texas residents who are open to traveling 50%.
