Position

Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate (Retail Sales Associate responsibilities, with pawn-related services) located at First Cash pawn store locations nationwide.

Pay and incentives: $12.50 to $15.50 per hour plus commission. The commission plan is described to have a potential 2-8% commission based on personal performance, with earnings potentially added on top of hourly wages. Earned Wage Access and other employee programs are available per policy.

We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates for pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate greets, engages, and assists customers to process sales, loans, and related transactions. The role involves working with a variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, and firearms (in FFL locations). The position offers an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity;

actual pay depends on location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greet and interact with customers to understand needs and recommend financial solutions.
• Perform open/close procedures and maintain a clean, stocked sales floor.
• Process sales and loan transactions in accordance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage cash and negotiable items per policy.
• Answer incoming calls and communicate legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions.
• Collaborate with coworkers to provide a positive customer experience.
• Complete required training and assume other related duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform duties for extended periods (standing, walking, etc.).
• Ability to work with firearms and become firearms certified (where applicable).
• Minimum age 18;
  High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Strong customer service mindset, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and basic math proficiency.
• Cash handling experience preferred and ability to operate POS systems.
• Willingness to work flexible retail schedules, including weekends and holidays; ability to work in multiple locations as needed.
