The British International School Abu Dhabi is seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, and adaptable Lead Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team of educators. You will have strong experience as a Lead TA in the UK national curriculum; further experience of international education will be an added advantage. You will be an excellent communicator who will work well with all members of the community.
You will have a strong focus on professional excellence and continuous improvement, and will also participate fully in the extra-curricular aspects of school life. You will be responsible for encouraging and developing further our culture of inspiration, enjoyment and success. Keen to collaborate and share your expertise, you will have good interpersonal skills and the ability and confidence to build strong working relationships.
The flexibility and open-mindedness required to adapt quickly to a fast-paced international environment are essential.
The Role
Our school follows the English national curriculum to IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme post-16. The successful candidate as a coordinator will be able to inspire staff and students of all ages and abilities. Classroom resources are plentiful, and expectations are high for achievement for all students. Building and maintaining positive relationships with parents is essential and is a key part of maximising student progress.
