POWERTECH is a center of excellence for propulsion technologies, specializing in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of combustion engines, expendable turbojet engines, and turbofan engines for a wide range of aerospace, defence, and autonomous applications, including fixed- and rotary-wing UAVs and other advanced platforms.
Role PurposeThe Senior Production Assembler is responsible for carrying out complex mechanical assembly activities within the Final Assembly Line (FAL) for propulsion systems, aerospace assemblies, and related sub‑systems. The role supports high‑quality production execution, ensures adherence to engineering drawings and manufacturing procedures, and provides technical guidance to junior assemblers during assembly, integration, and testing activities.
Key Responsibilities Assembly Operations- Perform complex mechanical assembly and integration activities for engines, propulsion systems, and aerospace components
- Interpret and work from:
- Assembly procedures
- BOMs and technical documentation
- Assemble precision mechanical parts, structures, piping, brackets, and sub‑assemblies
- Support Final Assembly Line production targets and delivery schedules
- Identify assembly issues and elevate technical concerns to supervisors or manufacturing engineering
- Assist in troubleshooting assembly non‑conformities and rework activities
- Use assembly tools and equipment safely and correctly, including:
- Pneumatic tools
- Measuring instruments
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained and calibrated as required
- Follow approved work instructions, SOPs, and quality procedures
- Complete production and assembly records accurately
- Support inspection and quality verification activities
- Provide guidance and on‑job support to junior assemblers and technicians
- Assist supervisors in coordinating daily assembly activities
- Promote teamwork, discipline, and a strong quality culture within the FAL team
- Diploma or Technical Certification in:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Aerospace Manufacturing
- Minimum 5–8 years of assembly experience in:
- Aerospace
- Aviation
- Defence
- Automotive
- Heavy industrial manufacturing
- Experience in propulsion systems, engines, rotating equipment, or precision assemblies is highly preferred
- Experience working in Final Assembly Line environments preferred
