Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair water supply systems, including pipework, fittings, valves, pumps, and water storage tanks.
• Perform maintenance and repair of drainage, waste, and vent (DWV) systems across all ALTAIF facility buildings.
• Inspect and service sanitary fittings, toilets, urinals, wash basins, showers, and related fixtures.
• Maintain and service water booster pump sets, pressure vessels, and associated control panels.
• Perform leak detection surveys and execute repair works on concealed and exposed pipework.
• Install and maintain firefighting water supply systems, including wet risers, fire hydrants, and sprinkler system pipework in coordination with the fire systems team.
• Carry out routine flushing and treatment of water storage tanks and pipelines to prevent Legionella and contamination.
• Read and interpret plumbing drawings, schematic diagrams, and as‑built documentation.
• Respond to emergency plumbing breakdowns and blockages on a priority basis.
• Ensure all plumbing works comply with UAE Municipality standards and applicable building codes.
• Maintain records of all maintenance, inspection, and repair activities in the CMMS.
• Manage plumbing spare parts and consumables inventory.

• Strong knowledge of UAE Municipality plumbing codes and regulations.
• Proficiency in working with various pipe materials, including GI, CPVC, PPR, HDPE, and stainless steel.
• Experience with pump maintenance and pressurization systems.
• Knowledge of water treatment and tank hygiene protocols.
• Ability to read plumbing drawings and schematics.
• Familiarity with firefighting systems.
• Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
• Physical fitness to work in confined spaces, at height, and in hot weather conditions.
