Maintenance Technician

If you have previous industrial maintenance experience, we want to hear from you. Our client in the Adel, GA area is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician. This is a direct hire opportunity that offers great benefits, paid time off, 401k and more.

The maintenance department is a critical component of the company’s operational success. The Maintenance Technician must be able to solve complex problems using mechanical knowledge and problem-solving strategies. The Maintenance Technician must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial machinery. The Maintenance Technician’s success will demonstrate their ability to reduce downtime for production machinery, maintain machine performance through preventative maintenance schedules, and optimize all plant equipment.

• Able to troubleshoot, maintain, repair, upgrade, and install electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, AC/DC motors, sensors, photo eyes, and pneumatics.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Able to use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring, and testing equipment.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair plant lighting, emergency lighting, and electrical wiring.
• Possess strong welding and fabricating skills.
• Ability to operate forklift and other powered industrial equipment.

• 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Must be able to work at varying heights, climb, and work in confined spaces.
• Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, and squat throughout the shift.
• Must have flexibility for overtime and emergency call ins.
