Accountant, Financial Reporting, Tax Accountant

As a Junior Accountant you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and maintenance of financial records for our company. This includes recording transactions, reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports. You will also assist in budgeting and forecasting as well as ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies. This role is ideal for an entry-level accountant looking to gain hands‑on experience in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.

Fluency in English is preferred but not required. This position is based in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait with a salary of $1,200 per month.

• Record day-to-day financial transactions in the company's accounting system.
• Reconcile bank statements and other accounts on a regular basis.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
• Assist with audits and tax filings as needed.
• Communicate with internal teams to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in accounting regulations and standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role (internships included).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Quick Books preferred).
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills. English fluency preferred.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
