Make an impact at GEODIS as an Industrial Engineer III in Ajax, Ontario, enhancing continuous improvement initiatives. Your analytical skills will drive operational excellence and deliver client satisfaction.
As part of GEODIS, you will develop strategies to optimize logistics operations, employing your engineering expertise to create effective layouts and implement advanced material handling solutions. With a focus on Kaizen methodologies and data analysis, you'll support various projects that significantly improve efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct data analyses to optimize storage and slotting
• Collaborate closely with operations for improvement strategies
• Lead engineering changes and develop detailed designs
• Participate in WMS configuration and slotting tool updates
• Validate vendor installations and perform testing
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, or related engineering
• At least 4 years of relevant engineering experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SQL
• Preferred experience in 3PL warehousing
• Strong software capability in Microsoft Office
