Position Overview The Shopping Experience Representative at Al-Futtaim IKEA in Al Ain plays a key frontline role in delivering a welcoming, efficient, and customer-focused store experience. This position is responsible for managing the Info Desk, supporting Returns and Exchanges, handling cash transactions accurately, and ensuring a safe and positive environment for customers and families. The role directly contributes to customer satisfaction, brand trust, and smooth store operations.

- Welcome customers upon arrival, provide shopping tools and information, and ensure they feel supported throughout their store visit.
- Assist customers at the Returns and Exchange desk, ensuring processes are efficient, fair, and aligned with store policies while retaining customer trust.
- Handle routine customer complaints professionally and courteously, escalating to Duty Manager when required.
- Follow cash handling SOPs, receive payments through multiple methods, and ensure 100 percent accuracy in all transactions.
- Count and reconcile cash floats before opening and after closing to maintain financial accuracy and compliance.
- Explain Smaland admission policies clearly and ensure children's safety is prioritized at all times.
- Make announcements and coordinate with parents if issues arise in the playroom area.
- Book IKEA services such as home delivery, assembly, and measurement accurately through system tools.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to returns, exchanges, and cash reconciliation.
- Identify and report product faults, safety concerns, or transportation issues based on customer feedback.
High School diploma or equivalent qualification. Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service or front-facing retail role. Comfortable handling cash transactions and customer-facing responsibilities in a busy retail environment. Strong customer-oriented mindset with the ability to resolve issues calmly and efficiently.
