Warehouse Team Members are responsible for handling product at the case and pallet level including counting, verifying, separating, picking, stocking, scanning, moving, and updating. They move merchandise to other distribution center areas as needed, load and unload merchandise onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, lift heavy objects, and ensure cases and pallets are correctly sorted.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean work area and common areas.
  • Follow safety rules and report hazards to a Distribution Area Manager.
  • Communicate any problems to Distribution Area Lead or Distribution Area Manager.
  • Transport, load, and unload trailers using power equipment, conveyors, or by hand.
  • Read work orders or follow oral instructions to ascertain merchandise or containers to be moved.
  • Load and unload merchandise onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
  • Lift heavy objects by hand, with team lifting, or with power equipment.
  • Ensure cases and pallets are correctly sorted.
  • Move merchandise to other distribution center areas as needed.
  • Regular physical attendance is essential for the performance of the job.
  • Demonstrate good organizational and time management skills.
  • Maintain performance standards of speed and accuracy, minimizing damage and maximizing safety.
  • Assist other department personnel when peak workloads require or during absences of personnel.
  • Complete special projects and tasks as necessary.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Protect the company’s assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.
