Part-Time Tax Preparer – New Mexico

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time Tax Preparer to join our growing tax and accounting firm in New Mexico.

• Prepare individual, business, fiduciary, and nonprofit tax returns.
• Review client financial information and tax documents for accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate professionally with clients regarding tax matters and document requests.
• Assist with tax planning and research as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards.

• Previous tax preparation experience required.
• Knowledge of federal and New Mexico tax laws.
• Experience with professional tax software (Lacerte experience preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines during tax season.
• EA, CPA, or accounting background preferred but not required.

• Part-time position with flexible scheduling.
• Additional hours may be available during tax season.
