RiVidium is seeking a UX Researcher / Usability Testing Lead to support our planned MODES III team supporting Military Community and Family Policy (MC&FP). This role supports Outreach & Engagement Services and helps deliver mission-focused outcomes for service members, families, and related stakeholders. Conducts PWS
C.5.2 usability research and journey mapping; integrates user testing insights into digital performance optimization (C.5.2.3.5). This position is contingent upon contract award.
- Lead usability testing and user research efforts that inform strategic digital improvements.
- Capture findings, pain points, and recommendations from user behavior and feedback.
- Translate research results into actionable guidance for designers, developers, and stakeholders.
- Support a continuous‑improvement approach grounded in evidence and end‑user experience.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Relevant experience aligned to the role and labor category; openings may be filled at Lead (15+ yrs).
- Ability to satisfy applicable Government personnel security requirements for the assigned role and work with sensitive but unclassified information.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills in a mission‑focused delivery environment.
- Experience supporting public sector, defense, or mission‑focused digital communications programs.
- Familiarity with audience analytics, user‑centered design, accessibility, and content performance measurement.
- Experience collaborating across content, design, stakeholder engagement, social media, and campaign teams.
This role is expected to support work in the Alexandria, Virginia area, with on‑site support at the DoD Mark Center or other customer‑approved locations as required. Hybrid support in the Alexandria, Virginia area is expected, with on‑site support as required by the customer.
