Advanced Quality Engineer | Allendale, MI
Salary Range: $90,000 - $131,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity
We are collaborating with multiple companies in Allendale seeking experienced Advanced Quality Engineers. These organizations value long-term fit and are looking for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement advanced quality control plans and inspection procedures.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action for complex manufacturing defects.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and statistical process control.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure product manufacturability and quality.
- Conduct supplier quality audits and manage supplier corrective actions.
- Mentor and train junior quality engineers on advanced quality methodologies.
- Oversee the development and validation of new inspection technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and other quality methodologies (e.g., FMEA, Control Plans).
- ASQ certifications (e.g., CQE, CSSGB, CSSBB) preferred.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems.
- Proven ability to lead and facilitate cross-functional teams for problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
- Familiarity with Minitab or other statistical software
- Project management experience in a manufacturing environment
