• Provide engineering support, training, and problem solving to a wide range of customers for all technical issues related to the use of Simcenter STAR‑CCM+.
• Analyze problems, troubleshoot, and resolve simulation issues; conduct benchmark simulations and test cases to explore new methods and verify results.
• Conduct technical discussions with customers to collect and understand simulation requirements, propose solutions, and explain benefits of our approach.
• Collaborate with product management and industry teams to provide input on future product direction, and demonstrate new software capabilities to customers.
• Work on multiple projects and support engagements simultaneously; conduct training on introductory and advanced topics in Simcenter STAR‑CCM+.
• Telecommuting permissible pursuant to company policy; 20% domestic travel required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace Engineering or related field and 36 months experience in the role or a related occupation.
• Master’s degree in the same fields and 12 months experience in the role or a related occupation.
• Experience in computational fluid dynamics theory and application.
• Experience with CFD simulation applications including internal/external flows, transonic/supersonic flows, conjugate heat transfer, transient analysis, and multiphase applications.
• Experience with meshing complex geometries, turbulence modeling, and simulation post‑processing.
• Experience with Simcenter STAR‑CCM+ or other commercial CFD tools.
• Experience with engineering design processes, objectives, and constraints for industrial applications.
