Role Description  The Junior Paint Chemist will support the development, testing, and improvement of paint and coating formulations in the company's laboratory. This full-time, on-site role is based in Alwar and involves preparing samples, running standard tests, recording data, and assisting senior chemists with research and development activities. Daily responsibilities include performing quality control checks on raw materials and finished products, troubleshooting basic formulation issues, and maintaining accurate laboratory documentation.

The role also includes following established safety procedures, maintaining lab equipment and inventory, and collaborating with production and quality teams to ensure that products meet performance and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Strong laboratory skills, including safe handling of chemicals, sample preparation, and use of basic analytical instruments.
Quality control experience or coursework, with an understanding of testing protocols, specifications, and documentation requirements.
Analytical skills for interpreting test results, identifying trends or deviations, and supporting problem-solving efforts.
Interest or experience in research and development (R&D) and research activities related to coatings, polymers, or chemical products.
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related scientific field.
Attention to detail, strong record-keeping habits, and ability to follow standardized methods and procedures.
Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with laboratory, production, and quality assurance colleagues.
Familiarity with paint, inks, adhesives, or related chemical industries is an advantage but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
