Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused technology professional to join a dynamic enterprise IT team supporting hardware deployment initiatives in Amarillo, TX. This is a full-time, primarily onsite contract role with the potential for long-term conversion, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale device refresh projects while delivering an exceptional end‑user experience. Standard business hours apply, with a start time no later than 8:30 to 9:00 AM depending on location, and minimal local travel within the assigned metro area is reimbursable when required.
- Deploy new devices to existing employees as part of hardware refresh initiatives
- Prepare and deploy equipment for new hires, including coordination with hiring managers
- Collect, recycle, and track returned hardware assets
- Deploy and support peripherals including monitors, docking stations, keyboards, and accessories
- Provide deskside, remote, and walk-up support for hardware and software issues
- Perform imaging and provisioning of devices, including support for Autopilot deployment models
- Support end users during device deployments and migrations
- Package and ship hardware and peripherals when required
- Manage and update tickets through ticketing systems
- Conduct weekly inventory tracking and asset management activities
- Follow up with users regarding equipment returns and project completion activities
- Escalate issues appropriately and collaborate with team members when needed
- Conduct scheduled PC refresh appointments with end users
- Manage incoming support tickets and deployment requests
- Coordinate device deliveries and installations
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues during deployments
- Support walk-up users during scheduled coverage windows between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems
- Experience with device imaging and deployment processes
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory administration
- Experience with Microsoft Intune or similar endpoint management platforms
- Proficiency with remote support tools such as Cyber Ark or similar platforms
- Ability to troubleshoot VPN connectivity issues
- Experience with peripheral installation and support
- Familiarity with ticket management systems such as Service Now or similar platforms
- Knowledge of Windows provisioning, asset management, and hardware lifecycle management
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional attitude with a customer-first mindset
- Proven problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Ability to follow established processes and procedures
- Strong team collaboration skills
- Self-motivated with a high degree of accountability
- Adaptability and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in end-user support, desktop support, or IT support environments
- Current students or recent graduates with applicable hands‑on experience may also be considered
- Experience supporting desktop and laptop hardware deployments
- Experience using ticketing systems in a professional IT environment
- Experience with endpoint deployment projects and hardware lifecycle management is preferred
- CompTIA A+ or equivalent industry certification is a plus
- Any relevant certifications in endpoint management, Microsoft technologies, or IT support are preferred

PayRate Range
23 - 30 USD hourly
