Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent – Low Voltage focus to oversee the installation, coordination, and execution of low voltage systems on a large-scale hyperscale data center project.

This role will be responsible for managing structured cabling, fiber optic infrastructure, telecommunications systems, security systems, access control, CCTV, and network infrastructure installations while ensuring safety, quality, schedule adherence, and successful project delivery. The ideal candidate has experience leading low voltage scopes in fast-paced mission-critical or data center environments and is comfortable coordinating multiple subcontractors and technology vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise all low voltage construction activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage multiple subcontractors performing structured cabling, fiber optic, security, access control, CCTV, and telecommunications installations.
  • Drive project schedule performance through manpower planning, look‑ahead scheduling, and daily field coordination.
  • Ensure all installations comply with project specifications, industry standards, and quality requirements.
  • Conduct regular field walks and coordinate work activities with electrical, mechanical, controls, and commissioning teams.
  • Support procurement efforts by tracking equipment, materials, and delivery schedules.
  • Review and coordinate RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change documentation.
  • Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and participate in owner and project team meetings.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, progress updates, and field observations.
  • Support system testing, commissioning, turnover, and owner training activities.
  • Promote and enforce all site safety requirements and company policies.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience managing low voltage or technology infrastructure installations.
  • Experience supporting mission‑critical data center, industrial, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, or large commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of structured cabling systems, fiber optic infrastructure, telecommunications, and network systems.
  • Experience coordinating low voltage subcontractors and technology vendors.
  • Familiarity with fiber optic testing, certification, and turnover processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • OSHA 30 certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting hyperscale data center construction projects.
  • Knowledge of security systems, access control, CCTV, and network infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with TIA/EIA standards and structured cabling best practices.
  • BICSI certification preferred.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, BIM 360, or similar construction management software.
  • Experience supporting commissioning and startup activities for mission‑critical facilities.
