Job Summary
Account Manager – Water Technology, located in Amarillo, Texas. Responsible for revenue and profit growth of programs and services in targeted accounts, building relationships through system assurance programs, converting strategic competitive accounts, and selling new technologies to existing customers.

- Lead and coach District Representatives, champion corporate initiatives, and plan and lead portions of District Meetings.
- Generate and execute sales plans to close new opportunities within the existing customer base and in major competitively held accounts to meet territory profit goals.
- Collaborate closely with large, strategic current and prospective customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that maintain and grow sales within the assigned territory.
- Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including plant or facility executives.
- Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data, and providing written recommendations to ensure optimal customer operations.
- Stabilize and grow business in large strategic accounts.
- Residence within commutable distance from Borger, TX.
- Territory covers approximately a 60‑mile radius.
- Targeted accounts are within the downstream industry.
- Less than 10% overnight travel required.
- 5 years of technical sales or field sales support experience.
- Current and valid driver’s license.
- Immigration sponsorship not available for this role.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.).
- Experience in the water treatment or specialty chemical industry.
- Knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems.
- Drive a company vehicle as required; pre‑employment and ongoing motor vehicle record checks will be performed.
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
Annual range: $118,600 – $177,800, including base pay and target incentive based on performance.
