As the St. Cecilia Preschool Wraparound Childcare Director, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and enriching environment for the preschool aged children. You will be responsible for supervising childcare staff, preschool-age children, planning and implementing activities, and maintaining a clean and organized classroom area. The position is currently a school year position, but we would be open to a summer program in the potential future.

• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children in your care.
• Plan and implement the daily plans and activities.
• Foster positive communication with children, parents, and fellow staff.
• Organize and lead age-appropriate activities, meals, and routines.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, including handwashing supervision.
• Maintain program site and equipment.
• Provide guidance for children’s behavior.
• Other duties or tasks as designated by the management team.
• Adhere to all policies and standards set by St. Cecilia Catholic School, the Archdiocese of Dubuque, and the Department of Human Services.
