Under the supervision of the High School Principal and other administrators, a Campus Monitor guides and assists students across the campus to ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable environment conducive to student interaction and learning.

Monday – Friday, 7:45 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., 9.5‑month position.

• Physically patrol the school, parking lot, and school grounds to maintain safety.
• Supervise students before and after school, during lunch, and during passing times.
• Support students in following school rules and behavior expectations.
• Intervene to prevent and resolve conflicts between students, reporting to administration as needed.
• Co‑ordinate supervision coverage with other staff to cover lunch rooms, hallways, and parking lot.
• Identify and report security or safety hazards.
• Complete incident reports when required.
• Assist law‑enforcement personnel upon request.
• Notify police, fire department, or other authorities for immediate situations.
• Provide directions or act as guide to authorized visitors.
• Administer first aid as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• First Aid certification upon hire.

• Positive, professional interaction with students, parents, staff, and community members from diverse backgrounds.
• Approachable and accessible presence.
• Initiative to identify and address potential concerns involving students.
• Proficient problem‑solving and de‑escalation techniques.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Cooperative and effective communication with the entire school community.
• Sound judgment and interpersonal problem‑solving ability.
• Efficient and timely troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Previous experience with secondary students.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally.
• Reliable with consistent attendance.

• Pay Rate: $21.75 per hour.
