Position: Internship Client Tax Services - Global Client Tax Services (CTS)

Overview

Join the Client Tax Services (CTS) team within Global Financial Crime & Fraud Prevention (FCFP) to support ING’s tax obligations related to USW, FATCA/CRS, DAC6, CESOP, and other client‑tax reporting requirements.

Role Overview

As an intern, you will learn specialized client tax requirements and assist the team with form validations, data analyses, and day‑to‑day operational activities involving USW, FATCA/CRS, DAC6, and CESOP.

Responsibilities
  • Support reviews of client tax documentation and classifications.
  • Assist in the development of internal guidance, training, and process documentation.
  • Analyze data sets to identify trends, anomalies, or compliance risks.
  • Help improve reporting processes related to FATCA/CRS, CESOP, and US Withholding Tax.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across Compliance, Legal, Operations, and IT to implement change initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in a Master’s or final‑year Bachelor program in Law, Tax, Economics, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in financial regulation, compliance, and/or tax.
  • Comfortable working with data (e.g., Excel, Power BI, or basic SQL).
  • Analytical, detail‑oriented, eager to learn, and proactive.
  • Clear written and verbal communication in English.
