Key Responsibilities Demand Planning & Forecasting
  • Ownership of rolling monthly demand forecasting by product and country.
  • Translate commercial inputs (tenders, switches, launches, competition) into realistic demand plans.
  • Manage forecast submissions to HQ.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy, bias, and demand volatility.
Supply Planning & Allocation Management
  • Participate in SnOP meetings to coordinate with HQ global supply on production, allocation, and shipment plans.
  • Proactively identify potential shortages or over‑stock situations.
  • Act as escalation point between local team and global supply.
Inventory Management & Optimization
  • Own inventory targets (safety stock level, expiry risk, release timelines).
  • Monitor batch expiry and coordinate mitigation actions.
Tender & Product Launch Supply Support
  • Assess supply feasibility for tenders or new product launches (volumes, timelines, constraints).
  • Provide supply confirmations and risk statements during tender submissions.
  • Model worst‑case vs best‑case tender demand scenarios.
Product Change & Lifecycle Management
  • Manage supply impact of formulation changes or new SKUs (e.g., IV → liquid).
  • Coordinate phase‑in / phase‑out between old and new SKUs (e.g., 150mg→300mg).
  • Align with QA/RA on batch release timing.
3PL Logistics Oversight
  • Coordinate inbound logistics, lead times, and warehousing constraints.
  • Monitor cold‑chain integrity and handling requirements.
  • Work with 3PLs on delivery and storage performance, owning stock audit procedure.
  • Troubleshoot shipment delays or deviations (returns, damages).
Quality, Compliance & Exception Handling Support
  • Support deviations, recalls, or special release situations from a supply perspective.
Qualifications
  • Mandatory Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical supply chain.
  • Prior experience in a local affiliate or regional role (not only HQ/global planning).
  • Proven ownership of end‑to‑end supply chain scope (forecasting → supply → inventory → distribution).
  • Hands‑on experience with demand forecasting and supply planning, inventory management.
  • Cross‑functional stakeholder collaboration (Commercial, Medical, RA/QA, Finance).
  • Direct collaboration experience with global/HQ supply teams.
  • Highly Preferred Experience in small organizations.
  • Exposure to product launches, formulation changes, or SKU transitions.
  • Experience managing biologics / cold‑chain products.
Mandatory Competency
  • Technical / Functional:
    Demand forecasting & scenario planning, Inventory optimization (expiry, safety stock), Understanding of pharma regulations and GMP/GDP‑related regulations.
Business & Soft Skills
  • End‑to‑end ownership mindset.
  • Ability to translate supply limitations into business language.
  • Strong stakeholder management and alignment skills.
  • Comfortable pushing back on unrealistic demands with data.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and frequent ad‑hoc requests.
  • Clear written communication (email‑heavy role).
  • Behavioral:
    Proactive, structured, and detail‑oriented; calm under pressure; able to operate independently with minimal supervision; strong prioritization skills in a high‑interrupt environment.
Education
  • Mandatory Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Preferred Master’s degree (Supply Chain, Operations, or equivalent).
Additional Requirements
  • Formal supply chain certifications (nice to have, not required).
  • Fluency in English (mandatory);
    Dutch and/or French is a strong plus for Benelux.
