Quality Assurance Technician

JOB PURPOSE
Burberry is hiring a Quality Assurance Technician to safeguard the exceptional standards that define the brand. This role partners closely with vendors and factories to ensure products meet Burberry quality expectations from development through to final delivery. Through technical expertise and collaboration, the position supports right‑first‑time production, protects brand integrity and elevates the customer experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Partner with vendors and factories to provide technical guidance that supports consistent delivery of Burberry quality standards.
Lead pre‑production and handover meetings with Product Engineering teams to identify risks and enable right‑first‑time outcomes.
Conduct in‑line and final inspections to ensure products meet agreed specifications and quality expectations.
Review non‑conformance data and collaborate with partners on effective, sustainable corrective action plans.
Assess manufacturing facilities and support continuous improvement of quality systems and ways of working.
Collaborate with sourcing, engineering and regional QA teams to resolve issues and strengthen quality processes.

PERSONAL PROFILE

Strong understanding of quality assurance principles within manufacturing, including inspection, testing and risk assessment.
Experience working with external vendors and production partners in a collaborative, solutions‑focused way.
Clear and considered communicator, able to influence and build trust across diverse teams.
Comfortable working autonomously while remaining connected to wider business priorities.
Confident using data, reporting and quality metrics to support informed decision‑making.
Flexible and open to travel across production environments.
