The Farmstead is seeking Part Time Driver to join our team.

Scheduled hours are 6-15 hours per week.

Reporting structure:
The position reports to the Life Enrichment Director.

Located in Andover, MN, a northern Twin Cities suburb, this community was founded in 1998 on what was once a flourishing family farm. The original round barn built in the 19th century remains part of the campus; it is leased to an antique shop owner. A variety of other stores and restaurants in the area make it easy for employees to run errands before or after work.

This site is in proximity to:
Ramsey, St. Francis, East Bethel, Ham Lake, Anoka, Coon Rapids, and Blaine.

• Organize and provide a shuttle service for residents.
• Maintain a daily schedule, plan routes, and schedule riders accordingly.
• Provide a door-to-door service for residents who have mobility or ambulating impairments.
• Escort residents from their home or apartment to the bus and escort them into the building of their destination.
• Organize a schedule in collaboration with designated staff and residents to provide periodic services to support resident attendance at activities away from the campus.

• Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• Class A or B driver’s license and passenger endorsement as required by site and vehicle driven.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance sufficient to ensure the excellent and safe operation of the vehicle and to troubleshoot problems.
• Current and valid medical certificate in compliance with Department of Transportation requirements as required by site and vehicle driven.
• Excellent driving record.
• Must possess patience, tact, positive attitude, enthusiasm as well as willingness to work as a team player.
• Must have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work independently and effectively with residents, coworkers, family members, visitors, and the general public.
• Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand English to communicate with all customers.

The estimated starting pay range for this role is $19.09 - $20.59 per hour. This good faith estimate is based upon PHS’s typical starting pay range for this role. Actual pay range depends upon many factors including each individual employee’s qualifications and market conditions and is subject to change.

Full-time benefits-eligible employment begins at a minimum of 30 hours per week:
