What you will enjoy doing*
- You will provide outstanding customer service to internal and external customers by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner
- Will interact with shipping companies, purchasing, customer service and/or branch management
- You will review all customer orders & branch replenishment picking tickets & flags with special instructions as needed to ensure accurate order processing. Assigns work to order pickers based on order urgency & shipping method and verifies that all same day shipment orders have been processed
- Creates bin locations & barcode labels for new items and overflow items, performs quarterly bin location/SKU sizing review, works blank bin report weekly, works negative on hand report weekly
- And you will resolve shipping errors reported by branches and customers and documents root cause and error source
- Resolves inventory discrepancies and processes inventory adjustments as required
- You will review surplus redeployment report monthly & shifts product as necessary to avoid obsolescence
- Files freight claims for damaged items & follows up to ensure credit is received
- Performs end of day balancing and daily cash reconciliation, including customer advance ship notifications (ASN) and customer item labels
- You will also manages and elevate product quality and service issues
- Provides leadership and direction to DC staff in the absence of the DC Manager
- You will support productivity projects and provides input on ways to improve DC performance
- Follows Linde safety procedures and encourages others to do the same
- Safely operates forklift or other machinery to load, unload, sort, stage, and transport product
- Maintains a clean work environment by keeping area free of trash and product in correct locations
- Other duties as assigned
- You will need more than three (3+) years of Warehouse experience is preferred
- Forklift experience is required in this role
- High School Degree or GED is required

Pay Range: $25.78-$37.81 per hour
