• Provide direct patient care to multiple pediatric populations (ICU, general care, and OP).
• Maintain airway, vital signs, monitoring EKG, arterial lines and pain management (epidural and PCAs).
• Provide patient/family education and patient‑family centered care.
• Collaborate with all members of the health care team to meet complex care requirements of the pediatric population.
• Provide care throughout the perioperative experience (pre‑operative and post‑operative care, including discharge and phone triage).
• Serve on call and weekend obligations.

• Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Michigan.
• Two (2) years of PACU RN experience, Level 1 Pediatric ED RN experience or Pediatric ICU RN experience within the last three (3) years.
• Resume required for both internal and external applicants (must be complete and accurate).
• Must meet all required qualifications prior to the start date of employment.

• BSN preferred.
• PALS and ACLS certification.
• CPAN/CAPA certified.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Positive, collaborative approach.
• Prior experience providing patient‑family centered care.

  Evening $3.00, Night $4.00, Day weekend $2.90, Evening weekend $5.90, Night weekend $6.90, Charge Nurse $1.00.

• Job Title: REGISTERED NURSE - LEVEL C
• Location: C&W Mott Hospital, Ann Arbor
• Shift: Day/Night rotation, 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m., 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week, weekend and holiday obligations.
• Work Mode: Onsite (hybrid or remote at department discretion).
• Union: Covered under the collective bargaining agreement between the U‑M, Michigan Nurses Association and the U‑M Professional Nurse Council union.
• Background Screening: Conducted after offer acceptance in compliance with applicable law; does not affect salary or benefits.
