Para educator Technology
Full‑Time 184 days / 7.5 hrs/day – 2026‑27 school year. Provide technology support and assistance in the building. Troubleshoot technology equipment under the direction of the building Principal, Technology Facilitator, Enterprise Technology Department personnel, and other district technology departments as necessary, while demonstrating exceptional customer service to clients.
Location: Rum River Elementary School
Duties- Assist and support staff in the use of technology equipment, including computers, printers, cameras, LCD projectors, scanners, interactive whiteboards, slates, student response devices, iOS devices (iPads, iPods), televisions and monitors, and video equipment.
- Maintain and manage all technology equipment to ensure it is functioning properly.
- Communicate daily with building leadership to coordinate work direction and technology needs.
- Communicate as needed with district technology personnel regarding repair needs and assistance.
- Maintain excellent customer service and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with employees at all levels in the building and district office.
- Update and install software as determined by district technology personnel.
- Ensure daily video announcements are up‑to‑date and are broadcast throughout the building.
- Attend all district technology para educator meetings and trainings scheduled during the duty day.
- Maintain an inventory of hardware and licensing documentation of software.
- Prepare computers for state and district online tests.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be physically able to work in the building.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with employees at all levels in the building and district office.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, completing an assigned day.
- Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work device and material handling, data functions, and people functions.
- Two years of successful technology experience with hardware & software – either on‑the‑job training, technical school, or college coursework desired.
- $20.00/hr to $25.30/hr DOQ with K‑12 experience.
- $21.15/hr to $26.45/hr with AA/AAS degree or 60 semester/90 quarter credits from a regionally accredited institution, DOQ with K‑12 experience.
- $22.00/hr to $27.30/hr with BA degree from a regionally accredited institution, DOQ with K‑12 experience.
