What You'll Be Doing
As a Youth Worker, you’ll play a vital role in mentoring and guiding young people navigating tough life chapters. You’ll build trust, provide structure, and create a supportive environment where they can develop accountability and positive decision-making skills. Your role will include:
- Building strong, respectful mentor relationships with youth
- Supporting individual treatment goals with compassion and consistency
- Encouraging personal growth and community responsibility
- Ensuring safety, structure, and support within the facility
You’ll be part of a team that believes every young person deserves dignity, respect, and a chance to succeed — no matter their past.

To join our team, you’ll need:
- A high school diploma or GED
- An Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice or Human Services is highly desired.
- A clean background check and central registry clearance
- A valid Michigan Driver’s License and reliable transportation
- A physical exam indicating good health and the ability to meet the job’s physical demands
