Responsible for the creation/maintenance of manufacturing processes and CNC programs utilizing CAD/CAM software.

•    Ability to create CNC programs for multiple types of CNC equipment using CAM systems
•    Experience using multiple CAM systems for process development
•    Proficient in advanced work holding techniques. Develop fixturing which consistently produces product to customer specifications.
•    Collaborates with Engineering on the design and development of work holding for new projects or to improve existing fixtures.
•    Strong knowledge of GD&T.
•    Advanced skills in cutting tool technology including:
o    Tool geometry
o    Speeds and feeds
o    Cutter clearances
o    Special tooling
•    Able to create programs for CNC equipment that are safe and easily understood by the operator.
•    Must be proficient in the use of CAM software packages with all basic machine tools (Mill, Lathe, Wire, and Plunge EDM).
•    Must be able to skillfully use editing software to write CNC program.
•    Proficient in the local site CAD/CAM software packages
•    Performs other duties as needed.
Position Requirements
High School,   Less than 1 Year work experience
•    High School diploma or GED
•    2 years in the programming field or equivalent combination of education and experience
•    Associate degree in manufacturing technology preferred.

•    Good oral and written communication skills.
•    Works well under pressure; must be organized and able to attain results on several projects simultaneously.
•    Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
•    Results-oriented and self-starter.
•    Train entry level programming staff.

•    Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
•    Corrected vison of 20/20, preferred.
•    Able to work in a fast-paced quality –oriented environment.
•    Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as determined for the position.

•    Must submit to and pass background and substance abuse tests.
•    Must be able to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States through eVerify.
•    Must adhere to the Company Code of Conduct and Core Values.
•    Must follow designated safety rules and regulations.
•    Must be able to fulfill all the requirements of this position, including requirements related to the company’s Safety, Quality and Environmental Management System Policies and procedures.
