Estimator - Construction - Facilities Maintenance - Custodial

FASCON is seeking a Talented Senior Estimator for a bids in construction, facilities management and janitorial.

Senior Estimator is responsible for the estimation of all projects in the FASCON portfolio to include Facilities Maintenance, Construction, and Custodial. Our ideal candidate will have RS Means certifications as well as being a Certified Estimating Professional through AACE International. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have 10 plus years of experience estimating with each of the fields noted earlier being a component of the time.

As the Senior Estimator it will be the responsibility of the candidate to cover all divisions in construction and facility management/O&M as well as custodial resourcing from a human, equipment, materials vantages.

• Review and evaluate cost estimates from vendors and compare to personal take off
• Evaluate solicitations from a GO/NO GO perspective and brief senior management
• Prepare FASCON cost estimate for comparison with received quotes
• Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projects
• Prepare estimates and in detail for all products
• Perform subcontractor buy out
• Identify and eradicate scope overlap
• Ensure timely completion of estimates
• Understand scope of work to bid
• Manage bid pricing from all vendors
• Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
• Attend Site visits for all solicitations FASCON is pursuing.
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s Degree required or Equivalent Experience
• 10+ years’ experience in estimating
• CPE certification
• RS Means Certification
