24-Hour OB/GYN Call Coverage ??? Arizona Locum Assignment We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Obstetrics/Gynecology physician for a locum tenens assignment near Black Canyon City, Arizona. This opportunity offers the chance to provide essential OB/GYN care in a supportive acute-care hospital with a strong commitment to patient well-being and community service.
Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care, including deliveries and surgical procedures Cover 24-hour on-call shifts throughout the assignment period Collaborate closely with Nurse Midwives and multidisciplinary hospital staff Document patient encounters and procedures using Cerner EMR Manage an average of 0???1 deliveries per shift, with callbacks typically ranging 2???6 hours per shift Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics/Gynecology Active Arizona medical license or IMLC eligibility Valid DEA license Minimum 1 year of OB/GYN experience COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical and religious exemptions accepted) Facility Details 99-bed Acute Care Hospital with Adult Trauma Level IV designation Average OB/GYN census: 0???1
