We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fire & Security Engineer to work across North of England in the Small Works Team.
The Service/Small Works Engineer will be responsible for installing and commissioning Fire Alarms and Security Systems within the service department while providing exceptional customer service with industry leading technical knowledge and relevant industry standards.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will work closely with the Small Works team, ensuring their time is managed efficiently and jobs are prioritised and completed correctly while compiling work reports and handover certificates. You will provide excellent service to exceed the expectations and requirements of both internal and external clients, establishing and maintaining effective relationships. You will also maintain a safe and secure work environment in line with company policy and procedures, whilst also ensuring client confidentiality is maintained.
Experience& Qualifications
- Experience working with Fire Alarm and Security Systems
- Qualified Fire & Security Engineer
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimum supervision.
- Strong ability to prioritise workload and anticipate the needs of the client.
- Problem‑solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues
- Experience and certification with leading integrated Fire & Security systems, with an understanding of networking
- Hold a valid ECS / CSCS card to enable site work. Preferred but not essential
- Hold an IPAF & PASMA certificate/card. Preferred but not essential
- Hold a full UK driving licence (Essential)
