IT Internship – Spring/Summer 2026

Position: IT Intern, Information Technology Department (1 position)
Hours and Pay Rate: $15 per hour, 35 hours per week
Reports to: Service Desk Manager
Internship OverviewAre you passionate about technology and interested in learning how IT systems keep things running smoothly? We’re looking for an energetic and self‑motivated IT Intern to join our team! This hands‑on internship offers real‑world projects, problem‑solving experience, and skill development for a future career in IT.
What You’ll Do- Work with IT Systems: Support the team in maintaining computers, software, and other tech systems.
- Organize and Manage Resources: Help keep track of IT equipment and resources.
- Learn from Experts: Work alongside our experienced Service Desk staff to gain hands‑on knowledge in areas such as programming, cybersecurity, and data management.
- Current Arlington High School student.
- Strong Communication
Skills:
Explain tech issues clearly to people who may not be familiar with IT. - Problem‑Solving Mindset: Be curious and eager to figure out how things work and how to fix them.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively and pitch in where needed.
- Attention to Detail: Organized and take pride in your work.
- Stand or walk for short periods of time.
- Lift or carry items up to 30 pounds.
- Use a computer for extended periods.
- Hands‑On
Experience:
