Corporate Senior Accountant

Corporate Senior Accountant - Arlington, VA Overview Beacon Hill Financial has partnered with a client in Arlington, VA in their search for a Corporate Senior Accountant to join their team. This fully onsite role is responsible for supporting corporate accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close activities while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity. Lead key aspects of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Assist with the preparation of financial statements, management reporting, and variance analysis. Analyze financial data and support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning initiatives. Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies. Support audit processes by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor requests.

Assist with revenue recognition, accruals, and other technical accounting matters as needed. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and reporting accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting and business objectives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. Corporate accounting or SaaS industry experience preferred. Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting.

Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with high attention to detail.
