First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA – Experienced ICU Telemetry RNs Requirements

• Local applicants only
• Minimum 3 years of acute care experience
• At least 2 years of recent experience in one of the following specialties: ICU
• Specialty RN positions will require additional credentialing
• Active RN License

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in fast-paced acute care environments
• Assess, monitor and document patient conditions, responding promptly to changes in status
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment appropriate to unit assignment (e.g., cardiac monitors, ventilators, hemodynamic devices)
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Perform advanced nursing skills consistent with ICU and Telemetry standards
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control guidelines
• Provide patient and family education as appropriate
• Demonstrate flexibility and professionalism when floating or adapting to various clinical settings

Must have two years of experience in the unit to which you are applying.
