Occupational Therapist Fellow, Hand Therapy

Location:

UCHealth Anschutz Outpatient Pavilion, Aurora, CO. Department: OT OP AOP. Full Time, 0.8 FTE (32 hours per two‑week pay period). Shift: Days. Pay: $38.72 – $58.08 per hour, depending on relevant experience.

Applicants must submit a cover letter, résumé/CV, and a letter of recommendation from a field‑work educator.

Evaluates patients and plans. Implements an effective occupational therapy program based on assessment and psychological sensitivity. Maintains professional expertise and assumes responsibility for professional growth. Completes residency requirements.

• Performs occupational therapy care for the residency‑specific patient population.
• Communicates findings and treatment plans to patients, families, care managers, providers, compliance, and payer sources.
• Completes required residency mentorship hours and assignments with supervising clinician(s).
• Completes written and live residency testing requirements, didactic learning sessions, classes, lab work, clinical observation and education requirements.
• Demonstrates critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• CO State licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider; BLS card valid within sixty days of hire.

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.
• One year of clinical experience as a clinician.
• Experience as a Level II student in hand therapy.
• Passed NBCOT exam.
• Current AOTA member.
