** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and actions taken.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office, data, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.

+ Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and support badge control and entry procedures for employees, contractors, and guests.

+ Support day-to-day operations at a technology-focused location by communicating with site contacts, reporting maintenance or life system concerns, and following post orders and Allied Universal protocols.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A minimum of 6 months of security-related experience is required.

+ Access control and badge experience is preferred.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
