Aerial Lift Operator
As an Aerial Lift Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective clearing and removal of trees along electrical power lines. Your primary responsibilities will include operating an aerial lift device (bucket truck) to access branches that interfere with electric lines, as well as using chain saws, pruners, and brush chippers. You may also be required to climb trees using specialized equipment.
QualificationsTo qualify for this position, you should have a minimum of 6 months of verified experience either trimming from a bucket or operating a bucket in a utility line clearance or residential tree clearance environment. A CDL License or a Valid Driver License is preferred. While a pesticide license can be beneficial, it is not mandatory.
Work ScheduleEnjoy a balanced work-life schedule with 4 - 10 hour days, either Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday, with occasional mandatory overtime. You will also be expected to participate in emergency storm duty as required.
CompensationPay rates will vary based on your skills and experience.
Travel RequirementsThis position requires travel across various states, including PA, MD, OH, VA, and WV. Candidates must be flexible and willing to travel on short notice based on contract demands.
