Primary Purpose of this position:

Install, startup and commission commercial/industrial HVAC equipment.

Specific

Job Duties:

* Follow and adhere to all company safety requirements and processes

* Install per manufacturer specifications and company policies:

* Manual dampers and supporting hardware

* Flex and sheet metal ductwork and associated duct fittings in light commercial and residential buildings

* Copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering

* HVAC related equipment including split systems and roof top units up to 20 tons

* Design/draw necessary duct fittings in the field to facilitate installation

* Wire both low and line voltage to cooling and heating equipment

* Pre-measure jobs to determine material required for installation

* Receive material and equipment required for each job, confirm accuracy and transport to job site

* Ensure proper installation of gas line connections to heating equipment

* Complete readings on machines and take necessary steps based on readings

* Accurately complete required job documentation in a timely manner

* Work with other team members and departments to meet job/project deadlines and specifications

Formal education, certifications and/or experience required:

* Must hold a Universal Refrigerant Certificate or be willing to obtain

* 1-3 years' experience of HVAC Installation

* Punctual and regular attendance

* Ability to work on a team and interact with people

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of various HVAC equipment

* Must have the ability to travel to job sites

* Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driver qualification policy
