Crop & Soil Sciences- Student Assistant -Grey

Position Summary

Individual will assist in lab experiments, prepare for upcoming experiments, keep lab areas and greenhouses clean and organized, and assist with field experiments. Assistance to technicians and graduate students will be required as needed. Full‑time work is available during the summer months. Shifts generally start at 7:00 AM, with occasional 6:00 AM starts for out‑of‑town travel. Punctuality is important.

• Assist in laboratory experiments.
• Prepare for upcoming experiments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of lab areas and greenhouses.
• Assist with field experiments and support technicians and graduate students.
• Adhere to shift schedules and travel requirements.

• High‑school graduate preferred.
• Preferred knowledge of operating farm equipment.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
• Comfortable working in outdoor environments and with dirty or physically demanding tasks.

Walking, bending, stooping, and lifting lightweight materials; work outdoors in varying weather conditions; driving as needed for job duties.
