The Commercial Accounts Receivable Clerk will ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.

* Answer incoming calls, book service calls & dispatch service technicians.
* Enter preventive maintenance agreements, schedule preventive maintenance visits & coordinate all material needed to perform these PM's.
* Enter all jobs sold from Job Builder to SAWIN operating system.
* Knowledge to process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures. Process all credit card payments
* Knowledge to perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables' data
* Knowledge to prepare all service, installation & preventive maintenance invoices and bank deposits.
* Knowledge to reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
* Knowledge to verify discrepancies by and resolve clients' billing issues
* Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
* Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
* Sales tracking & reporting


* Applicants must have at least a High School Diploma or GED
* A minimum of two years accounts payable and/or related experience generally required.
* 1 - 2 years proven working experience as accounts receivable clerk, accounts receivable manager or accountant
* The candidate must be able to pass a drug screening, credit, and a background check.
* Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations
* Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
* Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
* Hands-on experience in operating spreadsheets and accounting software (SAWIN or other full-scale ER software)
* Proficiency in English and in MS Office
* Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* Desire to identify and implement process improvements
* Able to handle highly sensitive and confidential information
* Able to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations
* Must be a team player and successfully juggle and complete multiple priorities

Technical Competencies:

* Basic understanding of math, reading, and writing is required
* Must be proficient using MS Office Suite software to include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Proficient in computerized accounting systems (e.g., SAWIN or Paycom) or similar accounting software preferred

* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Knowledge or Supplier and Vendor Invoices
* Knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures
* Knowledge of accounting concepts
* Good communication skills (verbal communication, listening, and written communication)

* Working knowledge of payroll processing, tax principles, wage and hour laws

Physical Demand:

* Ability to sit and type at computer station for long periods of time
* Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
