Job Description:
Quality Inspector Position Objective Ensure that products, materials, and manufacturing processes comply with established quality requirements, customer specifications, and applicable regulations by performing inspections, audits, and providing quality support on the production floor.
- Review and verify DHR (Device History Records) to ensure product documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with established procedures.
- Inspect and validate product labels, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
- Perform first article / first piece inspections to confirm that manufacturing processes meet specifications prior to full-scale production.
- Conduct line audits to verify compliance with processes, work instructions, and quality controls.
- Support the creation, use, and verification of visual aids in production areas to ensure proper process execution.
- Enter and manage nonconforming materials into the MRB (Material Review Board) system, ensuring proper identification and segregation.
- Assist in the investigation and documentation of NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), including data and evidence collection.
- Perform material location movements in the applicable systems, ensuring inventory accuracy and traceability.
- Report quality deviations, defects, or potential risks identified during inspections.
- Comply with safety procedures, quality standards, and good manufacturing practices.
- Technical education or high school diploma (technical degree in quality, manufacturing, or related field preferred).
- Previous experience in quality inspection or manufacturing environments (preferred).
- Basic knowledge of quality documentation (DHR, NCR, MRB).
- Ability to interpret work instructions, drawings, or specifications.
- Basic knowledge of inventory control systems or ERP systems (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility.
- Ability to follow procedures and standards.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Organizational skills and proper document handling.
- Quality-focused mindset and continuous improvement orientation.
