Refurbishing Technician

Overview

The Refurbishing Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing fountain equipment and vending machines used in retail outlets and efficiently preparing them for market readiness that meets company standards.

• Perform diversified duties focused on troubleshooting equipment and machines, performing repair tasks, and ensuring equipment is market‑ready.
• Track parts and equipment inventory.
• Quickly diagnose and troubleshoot routine problems and non‑routine equipment failures; replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
• Accurately place decals, faceplates, and other cosmetic details to meet company standards.
• Read and interpret equipment service manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Follow all safety regulations, maintain a clean and orderly work area, and ensure safety for oneself and others.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the department.
• Ensure professional contact with customers and maintain a clean and neat appearance to represent the company and iconic Coca‑Cola brand image.
• Maintain ethical conduct at all times.
• Perform other duties as required.

• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years of mechanical maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong mechanical and technical capacity.
• Ability to troubleshoot and quickly resolve problems within assigned timelines.
• Ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow service directions and work orders; follow all SOPs and safety protocols.
• Good verbal and pleasant communication skills to interact with customers; provide professional contact and appearance that upholds the brand image.
• Strong problem‑resolution and analytical thinking skills.
• Customer‑focused and an excellent team player.
• Ability to analyze and effectively solve complex problems while dealing with stressful situations.
• Flexible and able to adapt to varying situations.
• Regular attendance is required.

• Position is active with regular manual dexterity; work around cramped spaces; standing, walking, twisting, grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, sitting, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day are required. May lift or move items over 55 lbs. Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Ability to climb stairs is required.
• The role is safety‑sensitive.
• Primarily Monday–Friday (8:00 am – 5:00 pm); evening or weekend work may be required for emergency and unscheduled repairs.
