Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Attleboro, Massachusetts

A psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Thriveworks will help drive our brand by providing direct clinical care to clients through a mix of in‑person and telemedicine sessions.

Compensation

This is a fee‑for‑service (W2) position. The annual salary range is $147,000‑$212,000, based on 25–35 clinical hours per week.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychiatric assessments and create individualized care plans.
  • Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms as needed (excluding stimulant medications).
  • Provide care to adults and adolescents (14 years and older) in both telemedicine and occasional in‑person settings.
  • Complete required paperwork and assessment tools.
  • Adhere to Thriveworks’ Clinical Practice Guidelines.
  • Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding client care, programs, and services.
Qualifications
  • Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification; license in Massachusetts required.
  • Master’s degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in Massachusetts.
  • Minimum 1 year of psychiatry practice; additional experience preferred.
  • Understanding of Advanced

    MD (AMD) EMR is a plus.
  • Comprehensive in‑house training on ADHD treatment standards and certification exam required. Willingness to treat ADHD clients, no quotas.
  • Licensed and reside in Massachusetts (the state where practice will occur).
