Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – Attleboro, Massachusetts
A psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Thriveworks will help drive our brand by providing direct clinical care to clients through a mix of in‑person and telemedicine sessions.
CompensationThis is a fee‑for‑service (W2) position. The annual salary range is $147,000‑$212,000, based on 25–35 clinical hours per week.
Responsibilities- Conduct psychiatric assessments and create individualized care plans.
- Prescribe medication to reduce mental health symptoms as needed (excluding stimulant medications).
- Provide care to adults and adolescents (14 years and older) in both telemedicine and occasional in‑person settings.
- Complete required paperwork and assessment tools.
- Adhere to Thriveworks’ Clinical Practice Guidelines.
- Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding client care, programs, and services.
- Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with board certification; license in Massachusetts required.
- Master’s degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority in Massachusetts.
- Minimum 1 year of psychiatry practice; additional experience preferred.
- Understanding of Advanced
MD (AMD) EMR is a plus. - Comprehensive in‑house training on ADHD treatment standards and certification exam required. Willingness to treat ADHD clients, no quotas.
- Licensed and reside in Massachusetts (the state where practice will occur).
