Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical​/Tele

Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled Medical Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse for a float pool assignment working 12-hour night shifts. The role involves providing patient care across medical, surgical, and observation units with cardiac experience preferred, supporting multiple units as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in MS/Tele units, ensuring documentation accuracy in Cerner or Epic systems.
• Monitor and respond to patient needs utilizing the Avasure video system, including coordinating staff breaks.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during bed meetings to meet daily staffing demands.
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and implement care plans according to unit protocols.
• Maintain compliance with certifications such as ACLS and BLS, and adhere to safety and clinical standards.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital setting, preferably with Cardiac, MS, or Tele units.
• Hold a valid MA nursing license prior to deployment.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Cerner or Epic documentation systems (preferred but not required).
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Be able to work flexible 12-hour night shifts and adapt to unit needs.
