The SR400 Express Lanes Project is a $4.6 billion initiative that will add two 16‑mile express lanes from Sandy Springs MARTA Station to McFarland, plus bus rapid transit stations and bridge refurbishments. Construction will begin in late 2025 with substantial completion in 2031.

The Segment Cost Control Manager will monitor project costs, support financial forecasting, and ensure accurate reporting of cost performance across one segment. This role integrates cost control systems, analyzes financial data, and supports project teams in maintaining budgetary discipline throughout the project lifecycle.

• Assist in developing project forecasts using company‑supported cost control systems and present concerns to segment leadership.
• Provide backup analysis and cost data to improve construction forecasting of remaining work.
• Prepare templates to facilitate analysis and organize supporting documentation.
• Perform cost analysis with the construction team to explain monthly deviations and prepare summary reports for upper management.
• Produce and supervise labor and equipment productivity reports.
• Track subcontractor costs, changes, claims, and back charges.
• Document, track, and report segment costs per company procedures and track KPI performance.
• Report cost data and deviations clearly, concisely, and organized.
• Maintain organized work practices and data integrity for all cost analysis.
• Collaborate with project management and project controls teams for timely financial reporting.
• Support integration of cost control systems with other project management tools.
• Validate final revenue figures during closeout and support final billing.
• Audit cost data between company and client systems for consistency and accuracy.
• Support internal and external financial audits on assigned segments.
• Support the Change Management team.
• Maintain awareness of company values, strategic goals, and cost‑control best practices.
• Perform additional assignments as directed by management.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in construction cost control or project engineering.
• Proven experience in cost forecasting, construction finance, and project accounting.
• Advanced knowledge of construction cost control practices and financial reporting.
• Ability to lead and mentor peers while coordinating with other disciplines.
• Strong understanding of project‑level financial metrics.
• Familiarity with risk and opportunity management processes and mitigation planning.
• Expertise in forecasting practices and production analysis with cost variance identification.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
