• Operate a front‑end loader (wheel loader or bucket loader) to lift, move, position, and reposition loads.
• Operate under general supervision to load trucks and move and fill hoppers.
• Manipulate or depress controls to regulate speed, direction, and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to plant contact and Austin Industrial supervision.
• Clean and inspect the front‑end loader for safety issues daily; determine any malfunctioning parts.
• Complete job tickets, service quality summaries, and all other necessary paperwork.
• Follow all Austin Industrial and plant safety procedures and guidelines to ensure safe operations of equipment.
• May be required to operate a mobile sweeper, wash down columns and hoppers, and shovel in hard‑to‑reach areas.
• Wear required personal protective equipment, including weather gear, chemical protective clothing, respirators, safety harness, sand blast hoods, fire‑resistant coveralls, hard hat, ear plugs, and safety glasses.
• Maintain full range of mobility in upper and lower body; be able to reach overhead, work in various positions, stoop, stand, bend over, sit, kneel, squat, handle objects, use hands and arms, climb stairs, and work at heights.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 3+ years of front‑end loader operating experience; certification required.
• Must pass a pre‑employment physical and background check.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.
